Sharing a look today at a fun project in the works... a remodel + addition to this very cool couple's primary suite!

Space planning + initial design direction

We'll demo the existing reach-in closet to give the primary bedroom additional square footage, and convert the existing very small primary bathroom into a killer new walk in closet. We are adding on a generous new primary bathroom to the north side of the home, and have reconfigured the furniture plan of the bedroom to take advantage of the natural light in the space, keeping the bedroom darker in the mornings and allowing the sunset to glow through the French doors that lead out to the back yard in the evenings.

Finalized selections

Warm, earthy, layered and cozy....final selections below reflect everything the client was looking for! It was requested to keep the existing flooring as it had just been replaced, as well as the nightstands that our clients loved. We were able to make everything work, mixing new with existing, going high/low on furnishings, and incorporating both vintage and one-of-a-kind custom pieces into the design! Especially loving the deep terracotta linen upholstered bed and beautiful vintage handknotted rug.
